This Evening and Tonight:
A brief dry interlude in the evening with clear skies allowing temperatures to drop quickly. Rain and cloud then push back in overnight. Winds strengthening through the early hours in the southwest, bringing possible gales along the south coast. Minimum temperature 5 °C.
Wednesday:
Wet and windy with outbreaks of heavier rain through much of the day, pushing away during the afternoon to leave some evening bright spells. Strong winds reaching gale at coasts. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
A calmer, bright start to Thursday before Storm Austen arrives by evening bringing heavy rain and coastal gales through much of Friday. Further wind and rain arrives later Saturday.
