Today:

A cloudy and often wet day is ahead with any drier interludes mainly in the north and east and fairly brief. Heavier rain may arrive in south Wales by dusk. Very mild with winds easing. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Tonight:

Heavy rain quickly pushing north this evening with further showery rain overnight. Turning misty in coastal regions with widespread hill fog developing. Staying very mild with generally light winds. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Wednesday:

Another cloudy and often wet day with rain at times, this occasionally heavy in places. Perhaps becoming a little drier later. Very mild with a light southerly breeze. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Staying mild or very mild on Thursday and Friday with showers or longer periods of rain, interspersed with brighter spells. Probably drier, brighter and fresher on Saturday. Breezy at times.

Changeable and at times unsettled weather is likely to continue into the start of this period, with low pressure dominating the UK. This means further showers or longer spells of rain at times. All parts could see some heavy rain, but it is likely that western areas will be wettest. Strong winds are likely at times, with gales possible in the west. Equally there should also be some spells of drier or clearer interludes, these more prevalent further east, and bring the risk of some overnight fog which could be slow to clear through the day. Temperatures most likely to be around average, particularly at first, and probably overall. Should it become more settled, the chance of overnight frosts would also increase.

A greater chance of periods of high pressure bringing more in the way of dry weather, compared to the current weather pattern, which also increases the chances of overnight fog and frost. There will most likely however still be periods of rain, showers, and stronger winds, especially in the west. Weather patterns are very uncertain during late November. Overall, near or above average temperatures are most likely though some colder spells are possible, especially should any prolonged settled spells develop.
