Cold start with rain and hill snow possible later.
An early frost, then bright in the northeast during the morning. Cloud and patchy rain slowly spreading in from the west and southwest during the day, perhaps with some hill snow and freezing rain. Chilly with brisk winds, easing later. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
Unsettled through this evening and overnight with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, turning wintry at times on the hills. Often breezy and staying frost free given the blanket of cloud. Minimum temperature 2 °C.
Remaining unsettled on Saturday with rain at times, possibly giving a little more snow or some freezing rain over the mountains. Feeling chilly for most, and breezy. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Further spells of rain, and perhaps some hill snow likely on Sunday. Turning drier and brighter on Monday and Tuesday, but still feeling chilly, especially in the breeze.
