Today:

A dry start to the day, with some bright or sunny spells. Cloud tending to increase as the day progresses, but staying dry with light winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

A mostly dry evening but turning cloudier overnight with a strengthening southwesterly breeze. Not feeling quite as chilly tonight and staying frost-free. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Tuesday:

An unsettled day ahead. Often windy, particularly around coasts and hills, with spells of rain, this turning heavy and persistent later. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Brighter but colder on Wednesday with blustery showers, these wintry over the Welsh hills. Drier and brighter on Thursday but staying chilly. Then a return of the rain on Friday.

A broadly changeable pattern will continue, at least through the first part of this period, as further frontal systems move across the UK, bringing rain and stronger winds at times. Weather fronts are likely to be more active across northern areas, thus the wettest and windiest conditions are more likely here. As they come south, often running in to a ridge of higher pressure extending from the southwest, frontal systems will often be weaker and rainfall amounts smaller. In this setup, temperatures will probably pan out close to average overall, with some overnight frost where skies are clear and winds light.

High pressure may be more dominant at the start of this period, the centre of which transferring from somewhere west or southwest of the UK to somewhere north of the UK. As such, plenty of dry weather seems most likely, but with changes in wind direction leading to some quite marked differences in cloud amounts and temperature from day to day. Moving further into April, there is a chance that high pressure will become less dominant and thus there is a greater chance of more places seeing some rain and possible stronger winds from time to time. Overall, temperatures panning out somewhere near to average.
