A bright start but cloud will soon thicken from the west. Becoming breezy with a band of heavy, possibly thundery, rain pushing eastwards. Some late sunshine to end the day. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Low pressure continues to dominate, bringing further showers or longer spells of rain, with heavier bursts possible. Remaining breezy with temperatures near average, although with some chilly nights.
