Further showers likely in the west during the evening, but turning increasingly cloudy overnight, with showery outbreaks of rain become more extensive towards dawn. Minimum temperature 3 °C.
Friday:
Outbreaks of rain pushing south during the day, the rain turning to snow over the hills and moors during the evening. A widespread frost developing overnight with some icy stretches. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Drier and brighter on Saturday after a frosty start. Rain and hill snow risk returns on Sunday, as temperatures recover. Unsettled on Monday with mixture of sunny spells and showers.
