Humidity
Humidity is the amount of water vapor in the air. If there is a lot of water vapour, the humidity will be high. The higher the percentage of humidity, the wetter it will feel outside.

Visibility
Visibility
Visibility measures the distance at which an object can be clearly seen.
Sunny spells and a scattering of showers. Some of the showers will be heavy by the afternoon, with the risk of hail and thunder. Not everywhere will see these and will stay dry. Feeling pleasant in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 26 °C.
Tonight:
Showers may ease for a time during the evening, allowing plenty of bright spells ahead of dusk. Showers perhaps returning overnight, though mostly light in nature. Staying warm. Minimum temperature 15 °C.
Wednesday:
Mostly dry, with plenty of sunny spells. A few passing showers are possible, mainly in the north and west. Turning increasingly windy and feeling a little cooler. Maximum temperature 23 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
A mostly dry outlook, with sunny spells and a few passing showers, perhaps mainly on Friday. Temperatures near average so feeling cooler than of late, especially during any breezier moments.
Updated:
UK long range weather forecast
Rain or showers clearing on Sunday, with high pressure bringing more settled weather for most on Monday. High pressure will remain prevalent across the UK for a time, but low pressure in the Atlantic may bring further wet weather to northwestern parts. Further into August, high pressure may become more dominant towards the north or northwest of the UK, with lower pressure to the south or east. This means there is a greater chance of frontal systems or thundery interludes to affect southern and eastern areas in comparison to recent weeks, though rainfall amounts could be quite variable with some areas still seeing relatively little. For the most part, temperatures look to remain above average, especially in the south, and perhaps turning very warm or hot.
Updated:
A continuation of the broad theme of high pressure remaining in place at least close to the UK, but with occasional more unsettled or changeable interludes, either resulting from Atlantic frontal systems or thundery plumes. This means that rainfall amounts overall are more likely to be below normal than above. Temperatures will probably be above average and some spells of hot weather and heatwaves are possible, especially in the south.
