This Evening and Tonight:

Widely very warm and sunny during the early evening, although localised thundery downpours are possible in areas north and west of Greater London. Thunderstorms largely easing by late evening to leave another warm and muggy night with light winds. Minimum temperature 15 °C.

Wednesday:

Mainly dry and sunny again with temperatures still well above average, especially in the west where it will remain hot. Fresher conditions expected near eastern coasts with stronger onshore breezes. Maximum temperature 29 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Variable cloud, very warm or hot on Thursday and Friday with clear or sunny periods, but also a risk of showers or thunderstorms. Very warm, potentially hot on Saturday still.

A more changeable period than we have seen of late, as Atlantic weather systems move in from the west to bring a mixture of drier spells and some showers, or longer spells of rain at times. The rain will likely be heaviest in parts of the west and northwest, with the best of the drier conditions more likely towards the south and east. Temperatures will be near-normal overall, with the warmest spots most likely across eastern areas. It will also be breezy at times, most especially across northwestern areas.

Probably changeable or unsettled at first with Atlantic frontal systems bringing showers or longer spells of rain at times. From mid-month, high pressure may begin to become more dominant with conditions becoming dry and more settled, although some showery interludes are still possible. Temperatures are expected to be near normal at first, but probably rising above average later.
