A grey and potentially murky start, however cloud will gradually thin and break allowing skies to brighten. Some sunny spells developing during the afternoon, especially in the southeast. Feeling warm. Maximum temperature 25 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Mostly dry on Friday with bright spells. A chance of some showers on Saturday, then fine on Sunday. Feeling very warm by day, with nights also staying warm and humid.

In the north, changeable and often rather cloudy with showers or some longer spells of rain, perhaps heavy at times, and temperatures near normal. In the south, mainly fine and dry with temperatures well above normal, albeit with a small risk of a few showers or thunderstorms at times. Into late June, high pressure may begin to build with conditions becoming more widely dry and settled. Temperatures are likely to be above normal for many areas.
