A bright day with blustery showers. Heavy, sometimes thundery downpours are expected throughout the day, interspersed with drier, sunnier spells. Windy, especially over higher ground. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Scattered showers continue, giving a distinctly autumnal feel to the new working week. Longer spells of rain are expected at times, but there will be some breaks to sunshine too.

Temperatures will likely be close to average or slightly below overall, but may rise above at times in any drier, sunnier spells.
