Dry and sunny on Bank Holiday Monday. Widely very warm, locally hot in the sunshine with light winds, although developing onshore breezes will keep coasts a little cooler. Maximum temperature 28 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

A band of rain, followed by scattered showers Tuesday, though still warm or very warm. Further spells of rain or showers Wednesday and Thursday. Occasionally breezy and feeling fresher.

Some heavy rain is possible at times, especially in the west, but this possibly occurring more widely at times. Periods of windier weather are also likely.
