Rather cloudy with further outbreaks of rain or drizzle through the evening, falling as sleet or snow over higher ground, such as the Derbyshire hills. Limited frost developing in more sheltered western areas and the north-easterly winds continuing. Minimum temperature -1 °C.
Staying cold and damp with plenty of cloud and winds easing a bit. Drier spells increasing through the afternoon, with some limited sunny intervals possible in the west. Maximum temperature 4 °C.
Generally becoming more settled through the period, with lengthier drier periods developing as the north-easterly winds ease slightly. However, remaining rather cold and cloudy.
