Humidity

Visibility
Visibility
Visibility measures the distance at which an object can be clearly seen.
Widespread low cloud and long spells of rain and drizzle expected throughout the day, this wintry at first across the Pennines. Breezy initially, especially near the Lincolnshire coast, but winds generally easing through the day. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Tonight:
Rain becoming more showery in nature during the evening, before clearing northwards around midnight to give brief clear spells and patchy fog, before cloud and rain returns towards dawn. Minimum temperature 3 °C.
Saturday:
Mostly cloudy with showers or longer spells of rain, these perhaps heavy at times. Breezy, especially towards the coast. Temperatures near average for the time of year. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Variable cloud and scattered showers Sunday and Monday, with mist and fog during the mornings. Cloud and rain likely return late Monday and continue into Tuesday. Temperatures near average.
Updated:
UK long range weather forecast
Predominantly cyclonic patterns are expected to dominate the UK. Further fronts are likely to approach the UK at times and then become slow-moving as they butt up against high pressure to the north or northeast of the UK. Thus some southern and western areas remain most prone to seeing the wettest conditions, which will maintain sensitivity to further flooding impacts. Parts of northeast Britain may also be wetter than normal. Some snow is likely, especially in any colder airmasses that filter south or east into the UK and/or on the interface between mild and cold air. Strong winds are also possible at times. Temperatures will remain finely balanced during this period, with northeastern areas more likely to be colder than average, and southwestern areas perhaps seeing mild conditions at times.
Updated:
Broadly changeable conditions are expected across the UK during this period. Low pressure systems will probably dominate, meaning showers or longer spells of rain, heavy at times, for much of the UK and some hill snow in the north. Periods of strong winds are also possible, especially around coasts. Temperatures will likely be close to average or slightly above overall, though there remains the potential for incursions of colder air at times, at least into northern areas.
