A very windy day with widespread gales and severe gales in coastal regions. Damaging winds are possible, with disruption likely in places. Rain at times, perhaps wintry over hills. Cold. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Staying very windy overnight with gale force northwesterly winds, these only slowly abating by the morning. Showery rain at first though turning drier later. Cold but remaining largely frost-free. Minimum temperature 2 °C.
Less stormy than on Saturday but still a windy day with gales possible in places at first. Occasional sunny spells but often rather cloudy with a chance of showers. Cold. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
