Clear skies initially, but heavy showers arriving this evening. These heavy with locally squally winds and hail and falling as snow over higher ground. Turning drier overnight with temperatures falling close to freezing giving some frost and icy patches. Minimum temperature -1 °C.
Largely dry at first, but soon turning windier with outbreaks of rain and hill snow arriving through the day, turning heavy and persistent at times during the afternoon. Feeling chilly. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
Remaining unsettled through this period with showers and occasionally longer spells of rain, heavy at times. The best of any dry weather on Tuesday. Often windy with temperatures near average.
