Staying dry with sunny periods for most. However freezing fog will linger in some areas again, especially in the Glasgow area and the Clyde Valley. The Argyll Isles and far west coasts could be cloudier. Maximum temperature 4 °C.
Tonight:
Another dry evening and night with mainly clear skies bringing widespread, and in places, severe frost. Freezing fog patches probably lingering again around Glasgow. Minimum temperature -6 °C.
Thursday:
A dry day with some long sunny spells for most, the odd persistent freezing fog patch. Clouding over later in the day, with fog then lifting. Maximum temperature 4 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Friday cloudy, some drizzle, hill fog, Argyll brighter. Saturday bright start then cloudier with some rain. Sunday cloudy, windy, patchy rain, much milder.
