Severe gales at first this evening gradually easing tonight. The Southwest will be mainly dry and clear but a few wintry showers will affect the Lothians and northern Borders. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Bright or sunny spells and a few wintry showers these mainly in the north of the area including the Lothians. Drier for a time before rain crosses east later. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Dry for most of Sunday but outbreaks of rain later, windy with gales in southwest. Rain or showers on Monday. Then increasingly dry with some sunshine on Tuesday
