Dry and settled, risk of showers, particularly tonight.

Today:

Another largely dry and fine day with plenty of sunshine. Feeling a little fresher than on Tuesday, with an easterly breeze, but still very warm. Chance of an isolated shower late afternoon. Maximum temperature 25 °C.

Tonight:

Remaining dry for most, however an area of showers will push north and eastwards across the region overnight. Cooler than recent nights. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Thursday:

A few scattered showers initially on Thursday, but these will soon clear. Leaving most places dry and settled with plenty of sunshine on offer. Feeling very warm. Maximum temperature 25 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Remaining largely fine and settled over the coming days, however it will turn cloudier from the west at times, with an increasing chance of rain, particularly Saturday. Temperatures near normal.

A more changeable period than we have seen of late, as Atlantic weather systems move in from the west to bring a mixture of drier spells and some showers, or longer spells of rain at times. The rain will likely be heaviest in parts of the west and northwest, with the best of the drier conditions more likely towards the south and east. Temperatures will be near-normal overall, with the warmest spots most likely across eastern areas. It will also be breezy at times, most especially across northwestern areas.

Probably changeable or unsettled at first with Atlantic frontal systems bringing showers or longer spells of rain at times. From mid-month, high pressure may begin to become more dominant with conditions becoming dry and more settled, although some showery interludes are still possible. Temperatures are expected to be near normal at first, but probably rising above average later.
