Early cloud and freezing fog patches will only slowly clear this morning to leave a sunny but cold day. Cloud thickening from the northwest during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Tonight:
Dry at first, with variable amounts of cloud. However, clear spells will allow some chilly temperatures. Wind increasing with cloud thickening and outbreaks of light rain or hill snow later. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Thursday:
Cloudy with some light rain or hill snow at first. This clearing away southwards, with sunny spells developing. Windy, especially on coasts, and cold. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Cloudy with risk of some snow early Friday. Then cold, mostly dry and sunny, although coastal wintry showers are possible. Windy along coasts making it feel colder, easing during Sunday.
