Cold and mostly cloudy, windy on the Pennines
Staying rather cold and cloudy overnight, with the odd clearer spell possible at times. Winds picking up, especially over the Pennines and North York Moors. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Another cloudy and rather cold start on Tuesday, although cloud should give way to bright or sunny spells through the day. Breezy, especially along coasts. Cold again overnight. Maximum temperature 4 °C.
Cold and cloudy with bright spells on Wednesday, winds becoming strong. Unsettled conditions later in the week with strong winds and rain, but this also bringing in milder temperatures.
