Cloudy throughout the day, although brighter spells during the afternoon. The odd shower possible at times. Cloud thickening from the west through the afternoon, bringing some rain to the Pennines. Winds also increasing, especially along the coast. Maximum temperature 17 °C.
Cloudy overnight, thicker in the west where hill fog and drizzle are likely across the Pennines at first. Staying drier in the east. Remaining breezy across coasts and higher ground. Minimum temperature 6 °C.
