Showers, with possible thunderstorms, will move into the south and west of the UK for a time this weekend, before high pressure becomes re-established.

Fine on Sunday, with warm sunshine after chilly start.
Fine during the evening, with late sunny periods and then clear spells. Temperatures will fall away overnight in the light wind, with a touch of air frost perhaps possible in the most prone rural spots by dawn. Minimum temperature -1 °C.
Another fine, warm day, with lengthy sunny periods after a locally chilly start. Feeling a little cooler in coastal districts with an onshore breeze. Maximum temperature 25 °C.
Staying settled, with further chilly starts and low cloud giving way to warm days with plenty of sunshine. Remaining cooler in coastal districts, with an onshore wind.
