This Evening and Tonight:

Any rain will become increasingly isolated through the evening before clearing east around midnight. Largely dry with variable amounts of cloud however, a few isolated showers may push north later, most likely around dawn. Remaining rather warm and humid. Minimum temperature 16 °C.

Tuesday:

Any remaining showers will soon clear east, leaving a dry but very warm day with plenty of hazy sunshine. Light winds will do little to alleviate the heat. Maximum temperature 31 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Mostly dry with long sunny periods, though thundery showers may develop later on Thursday and persist into the early hours of Friday. Widely very warm or hot, including at night.

Fairly changeable conditions at first with periods of rain and showers, and there could be some thundery outbreaks at times. There will likely be some drier and brighter spells though. Into July changeable conditions are likely to continue as Atlantic lows move in from the west, but with transient periods of high pressure. This will lead to spells of rain and cloud interspersed with more settled periods. Temperatures remain widely above average, and the far southeast may retain some of the hot temperatures at first, but likely cooler than the preceding few days.

High pressure patterns are looking slightly more likely than low pressure patterns during this period, meaning a greater chance of settled and drier than average conditions. There is still a chance of some changeable or more unsettled conditions developing at times, with a risk of some heavy and thundery showers. Temperatures are likely to be above normal, with a greater than normal chance of hot conditions developing at times.
