Showers fading into the evening, with some clear spells likely. Low cloud, mist and the odd spot of drizzle then spreading inland from the North Sea. Milder than recent nights. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Cloudy start with outbreaks of light rain for some, although these easing by the afternoon. Cooler than recently, especially in the onshore breeze, but turning sunny from the east later. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Overnight cloud and mist clearing early Wednesday and Thursday to give some warm sunshine, but tempered by strong onshore breezes. Sunny spells and lighter winds Friday, but perhaps also showers.
