Clear spells at first before cloud and patchy rain move slowly northeast overnight. Rain could be heavy later in the night, turning wintry across the Pennines and North York Moors with freezing rain and snow possible. Cold. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Cloudy with rain, occasionally heavy and turning to sleet/snow where it does so, with risk of freezing rain over higher ground. Snow confined to high ground later, patchy rain elsewhere. Maximum temperature 3 °C.
