Another cloudy and rather cold start on Tuesday, although brightening up through the day. Chance for light hill snow early over northern Pennines. Breezy, especially along coasts. Cold again overnight. Maximum temperature 4 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Cold and cloudy with bright spells on Wednesday, winds becoming strong. Unsettled conditions later in the week with strong winds and rain, but this also bringing in milder temperatures.
