The cloud thinning and breaking with clear spells, the best of these in the west and staying mainly dry. A widespread frost developing and breezy around the coast. Minimum temperature -2 °C.
A mainly dry and bright day with sunny spells, the best of the sunshine over the Northwest Highlands and Western Isles. Isolated light showers possible over Caithness and Easter Ross. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
Cold and bright with a frost at night, but often sunny in the west. Mainly dry but there will be occasional showers, these wintry at times. East or southeast winds.
