This Evening and Tonight:

It will be a dry evening and mostly cloudy with some clear intervals. Remaining dry overnight with some longer clear spells developing, especially in the west. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Sunday:

It will be another dry day with a cloudy start, but bright and sunny spells breaking through the cloud to give longer sunny periods in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Dry Monday and Tuesday with variable cloud interspersed with bright and sunny spells. Bright spells and perhaps a shower on Wednesday with wind strengthening in the west. Overnight frost possible.

At the start of this period, outbreaks of rain across the south of the UK will clear away as clearer conditions spread from the north. A few wintry showers are likely in the far north, but otherwise this will mean a spell of fine and dry weather developing for most areas at the end of next week and the weekend. Over the following week, a change to more changeable weather is likely, with Atlantic frontal systems bringing rain and some strong winds. After a cold start, temperatures will probably be above average overall.

Atlantic frontal system are likely to spread across the UK, bringing some heavy rain at times and a chance of strong winds.
