Cloudy with rain, sleet and hill snow slowly clearing to the south through the day, leaving all parts largely dry by late afternoon. A few wintry showers may develop in the north later. Feeling cold. Maximum temperature 4 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy evening with a few sleet and snow showers, but many areas staying dry. A few wintry showers lingering overnight but generally drier with clear spells developing. A cold night. Minimum temperature -2 °C.

Friday:

The odd wintry shower possible near the coast, but otherwise it will be a dry day with long sunny spells. Feeling cold. Maximum temperature 4 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Dry on Saturday with sunshine, before turning cloudier later. Winds strengthen on Sunday as a band of rain and snow spreads eastwards. Mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain on Monday.
