Early rain will clear as bright spells increase through the morning. The afternoon will see bright spells and the odd shower. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Bright spells and a few showers Monday morning, becoming dry through the evening into Tuesday. Cloud and patchy rain will spread to western parts from Tuesday afternoon, continuing through Wednesday.

A broad northwest/southeast split in the weather looks most likely through much of this period. Towards the northwest, Atlantic frontal systems will bring occasional rain and cloudier skies at times, along with breezier conditions, though there should be some drier, brighter interludes too. Further south and east, high pressure will likely dominate with a fair amount of dry and sunny weather to be had.
