Showery rain dying out in the evening early with clear spells developing. Overnight it will become cloudier with a band of occasionally heavy rain spreading northeastwards. Strong winds easing away from the coast. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Saturday:

Heavy rain clearing to the north through the morning with a few showers lingering. Turning gradually drier through the day with some afternoon sunny spells developing. Breezy in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

It stays unsettled with some showers, sometimes merging into longer spells of rain. However, there will be some brighter, drier spells breaking through at times too. Staying breezy throughout.

The changeable and at times unsettled weather is likely to continue to start this period, with low pressure dominating the UK. This means further showers or longer spells of rain at times. All parts could see some heavy rain, but it is likely that western areas will be wettest. Strong winds are likely at times, with gales possible in the west. Equally there should also be some drier or clearer interludes, these more prevalent further east. A transition to a less unsettled pattern is possible later in the period making drier interludes more common. Above average temperatures are most likely, with a reduced incidence of overnight frost and fog, compared to normal, especially at first.

A transition to a less unsettled pattern is possible through mid-November. With time, there is a greater chance of incidences of high pressure bringing more in the way of dry weather, but also increasing the chances of overnight fog and frost. There may however still be periods of rain, showers, and stronger winds, especially in the west. Weather patterns are very uncertain during late November. Overall, near or above average temperatures are most likely though some colder spells are possible, especially should any prolonged settled spells develop.
