Showers move into the south and west before settled conditions prevail next week
Showers, with possible thunderstorms, will move into the south and west of the UK for a time this weekend, before high pressure becomes re-established.

Mainly dry with long sunny spells
Low cloud and mist in coastal parts soon clearing then a largely dry day with long spells of sunshine, perhaps just the odd shower over the hills. Feeling warm in the sunshine, but cooler on east coast with onshore breezes. Maximum temperature 21 °C.
Any showers soon dying out this evening with some late sunshine then clear spells overnight. Low cloud and mist developing over coasts and edging inland. Chilly in rural parts. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
Low cloud and mist becoming confined to eastern coasts through the morning, otherwise a largely dry and sunny day, just a small chance of a shower over the hills. Maximum temperature 23 °C.
Dry with long clear or sunny spells through the coming days, although haar may affect coasts at times. Warm or very warm, but eastern coasts cooler with onshore breezes.
