Gales, rain and showers, drier and wind easing in afternoon
Cloudy with showers or longer periods of rain and strong to gale force winds at first, turning drier and brighter for the afternoon as the winds ease. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
Light winds and largely dry with the odd shower at first. Cloud, outbreaks of rain, and strong southeasterly winds arrive into Orkney through late evening, extending to Shetland over night. Minimum temperature 3 °C.
It will remain cloudy throughout with showers or longer periods of rain and occasionally strong winds. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Showers and occasionally windy on Tuesday morning, improving later. Largely settled conditions with bright spells and the odd shower on Wednesday and Thursday.
