Mainly dry with some bright or sunny spells. A few showers, these mainly affecting Shetland. Light southeasterly winds freshening, across Orkney later in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
Cloud and showery rain will extend northeast this evening. Drier weather will reach Orkney around midnight and Shetland later on. Strengthening southeasterly winds later in the night. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
A spell of rain will soon spread to Orkney, and then to Shetland by late morning. The afternoon will see drier weather and a few showers. Southeasterly gales. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Windy on Saturday with frequent showers, severe westerly gales at first. Cold, less windy on Sunday with showers at first, drier later. A few showers on Monday.
