A cloudy day with outbreaks of rain throughout. Rain will be especially heavy and persistent in the morning over Orkney and then Shetland later. Mostly light winds. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Mostly cloudy in the evening with rain clearing to the north of Shetland and showers gradually easing over Orkney. Largely dry overnight with just the odd light shower possible. Minimum temperature 9 °C.
Monday:
A mostly dry and cloudy day but with some bright or sunny spells breaking through. Outbreaks of rain spreading into Orkney in the evening. Light southerly winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Cloudy with outbreaks of rain on Tuesday. Bright spells and a few showers on Wednesday. Heavy rain spreads north early Thursday to become largely dry and bright with strengthening winds.
