Showers move into the south and west before settled conditions prevail next week
Showers, with possible thunderstorms, will move into the south and west of the UK for a time this weekend, before high pressure becomes re-established.

Generally fine and sunny. Feeling very warm.
Another widely fine day with warm sunshine. Cloud building from the south during the afternoon, with one or two late afternoon showers possible. Warm or very warm, but feeling cooler in coastal districts with a blustery onshore breeze. Maximum temperature 26 °C.
Any showers soon fading to leave a mostly fine and dry evening. Cloud is expected to spill northwards overnight, perhaps introducing further locally heavy showers by dawn. Mild overnight. Minimum temperature 12 °C.
Fine and dry day for most. Cloudier in the west with outbreaks of heavy showers, potentially turning slow-moving and thundery at times. Dry by Monday evening. Warm or very warm. Maximum temperature 25 °C.
Further warm or very warm and sunny conditions are expected. Coastal districts will remain cooler and breezier with an increasing chance of overnight low cloud, mist or fog patches.
