Tonight:

Dry with clear spells this evening and turning locally chilly in some prone rural spots, although most escaping frost-free. Turning increasingly cloudy, breezy and milder from the west overnight. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Sunday:

A cloudier day, although it should remain largely dry throughout. Occasional brighter spells developing into the afternoon. Breezy and feeling milder compared to recent days. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Rather cloudy Monday, with occasional brighter spells. Turning unsettled with rain and strong winds spreading east Tuesday. Rain clearing to leave drier and brighter conditions on Wednesday. Mild throughout.

Widely unsettled on Wednesday with a spell of strong winds and periods of rain, heavy at times for most parts of the UK. Beyond this, it will remain changeable with a mixture of weather conditions through the rest of the period. The wettest and windiest conditions will probably be in the north, with spells of heavy rain at times at Atlantic low pressure systems pass by. Further south, whilst some unsettled weather is likely at times, it will probably be drier overall with a greater influence of high pressure. Temperatures will likely vary around average with both some milder and colder interludes at times. Snow will most likely be restricted to high ground, although could temporarily fall at lower levels in the north during any colder interludes.

Changeable with spells of wet and windy weather for most parts of the UK at times, these interspersed with some drier, more settled interludes. The heaviest rain and strongest winds will probably be in the north, with the south drier and less windy overall. Temperatures will likely vary around average with both milder and colder periods. Some snow is possible in colder interludes, especially on high ground in the north.
