    An unsettled weekend ahead.

    Today:

    Many places will have a dry but generally cloudy morning, before showers or longer spells of rain push north this afternoon, with a chance of some of these turning heavy at times. Breezy along the coast. Temperatures close to average. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

    Tonight:

    Initial scattered showers will gradually die away. Most places will become dry but rather cloudy conditions persist, with any breaks leading to patchy mist or fog. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

    Sunday:

    Areas of low cloud, mist and fog slowly lift leaving some limited bright or sunny spells along with scattered showers. Showers are most likely in the afternoon, some perhaps heavy. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

    Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

    Monday probably largely dry and rather cloudy, once any early mist and fog clears. Tuesday mostly cloudy with showers or outbreaks of rain. Wednesday rain then showers. Temperatures near average.
