    A dry start for most with sunny intervals developing quite widely by lunchtime. Dry for most through the afternoon with the best of the sunny spells in eastern counties. Breezy along coasts and higher ground in the west. Warmer. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

    Tonight:

    Some late evening sunshine possible in the east, but turning increasingly cloudy from the west overnight as a band of rain and drizzle edges in. Feeling humid. Minimum temperature 14 °C.

    Saturday:

    Cloudy as a band of rain and drizzle continues to spread eastwards, bringing heavy downpours at times, turning showery later with patchy cloud. Winds increasing. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

    Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

    Sunny intervals with scattered showers on Sunday. Strong winds gradually easing, but feeling considerably cooler. Much drier from Monday, with plenty of sunny spells, though the odd shower still possible.
