A cloudy morning for most, but sunny intervals in the west. Some sunshine breaking through elsewhere during the afternoon. Feeling pleasantly warm in the spring sunshine with light winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Showery rain in places on Tuesday. Otherwise a dry period with cloudy and sunny spells alternating. Temperatures above average and feeling pleasantly warm in the sunshine, albeit chilly by night.

The end of March will be characterised by changeable weather patterns. Some periods of unsettled weather could develop at times, bringing outbreaks of rain and strong winds. Temperatures will likely be close to normal overall, though cold are possible where clear skies coincide with light winds.

Slow-moving (or blocked) weather patterns are most probable through the middle of April. Areas of low and high pressure will lie in the vicinity of the UK and depending on their location this can result in either dry conditions or wetter episodes with rain or showers. Temperatures will vary, with some large day-to-day swings possible, but overall are likely to be near average.
