A rather cloudy start, but low cloud will soon lift and clear to leave a widely bright and sunny day with plenty of warm sunshine. Breezy perhaps, especially at first, but winds soon turning light and variable. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Tonight:
Dry and settled this evening, but turning rather chilly beneath clear skies. Light winds, and a patchy frost in rural spots. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Monday:
Widely dry and fine, though chilly to start. Becoming warmer later, especially in sheltered, sunny spots, with temperatures well above the late-March average. Light winds. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
High pressure continues to bring widely dry and fine conditions this week. Plenty of warm sunshine by day, but chillier by night. Becoming increasingly breezy, especially along the south coast.

High pressure will often be centred to the north or east of the UK, maintaining relatively settled conditions much of the time. This should result in lengthy spells of dry weather, probably with a fair bit of sunshine at times, but also an ongoing risk of overnight frosts, especially where winds fall light. There is the chance of some low cloud or sea fog around some coastal areas. Daytime temperatures will tend to fluctuate depending on the wind direction, with potential for both rather warm conditions at times, but also cooler interludes. It may also be rather breezy, perhaps with some occasional showery rain attempting to push into some southern and western areas, especially later in the period.

Weather patterns are most likely to remain slow moving through the middle of April. High pressure will probably be centred to the north or east of the UK, bringing a lot of fine and dry weather. If there are any interludes of rain or showers these are more likely to affect southern and western parts of the UK. Temperatures are likely to be above average overall, and feeling warm inland with light winds during the day, although some cold nights are still possible under any clear skies.
