Fine and mostly dry to start with any morning showers quickly dying out. Sunny spells mainly in the east, before cloud and rain associated with Storm Austen push into the southwest during the afternoon. Winds picking up by evening. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Storm Austen continues to bring heavy rain and strong winds. Northern parts may see a lull in winds in the early hours before gales push into Cornwall around dawn. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Rain to start for all areas before pushing away to the northeast through the morning. Strong winds continuing through the day with gales along coasts and exposed areas. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
