Dry at first, but showers in Cornwall steadily spreading east this evening. Heavy and squally thundery downpours with hail are possible in the west, with damaging winds possible very locally. Heavy rain and severe gales returning to Cornwall by dawn. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Sunday:
Heavy rain quickly spreading across the whole region during the morning. Bright spells and heavy, locally thundery showers, following for the afternoon. Becoming very windy with severe gales on coasts. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Remaining unsettled through this period with showers and occasionally longer spells of rain, heavy at times with a chance of localised flooding. Often windy with severe coastal gales on Monday.
