Fresher and changeable as we head into June.
Today:
A rather grey start in places but cloud will lift and break allowing some good spells of sunshine to develop. A few showers also possible, especially towards the west of the region. Feeling fresher than of late. Maximum temperature 20 °C.
Tonight:
A largely dry evening with some late spells of sunshine, especially in the east. Overnight remaining dry although cloud increasing and the breeze freshening in the west towards dawn. Minimum temperature 12 °C.
Monday:
A bright start, but cloud will continue to build from the west. Rain will reach western coasts by mid-morning before gradually spreading eastwards throughout the rest of the day. Maximum temperature 19 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Rather changeable throughout the period with a mix of sunshine and showers interspersed with a longer spell of rain on Wednesday. Temperatures near average for early June.
