Wet and breezy at times this week, but very mild.

Today:

The new week will start on a cloudy and fairly blustery note with patchy rain. The odd spot of rain is still possible this afternoon, but equally a few brighter breaks should develop, and it will generally be very mild. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Tonight:

The evening looks mostly dry, although it will remain rather cloudy and quite blustery. During the early hours outbreaks of rain are likely to arrive from the south and west. Minimum temperature 13 °C.

Tuesday:

Another rather grey day is expected on Tuesday, with brisk winds and the further risk of rain, which may become at times. Once again it stays very mild. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

It remains unsettled on Wednesday and for the second half of the week with further rain at times. A few brighter breaks though, and less blustery, with temperatures above average.

Changeable and at times unsettled weather is likely to continue into the start of this period, with low pressure dominating the UK. This means further showers or longer spells of rain at times. All parts could see some heavy rain, but it is likely that western areas will be wettest. Strong winds are likely at times, with gales possible in the west. Equally there should also be some drier or clearer interludes, these more prevalent further east. A transition to a less unsettled pattern becomes increasingly probable from around the 9th or 10th of the month, making drier interludes increasingly common. Temperatures most likely to be around average, particularly at first, and probably overall. Should it become more settled, the chance of overnight frosts would increase

A greater chance of periods of high pressure bringing more in the way of dry weather, compared to the current weather pattern, which also increases the chances of overnight fog and frost. There will most likely however still be periods of rain, showers, and stronger winds, especially in the west. Weather patterns are very uncertain during late November. Overall, near or above average temperatures are most likely though some colder spells are possible, especially should any prolonged settled spells develop.
