Humidity
Humidity

Visibility
Visibility
Visibility measures the distance at which an object can be clearly seen.
Remaining unsettled into the evening and overnight with further bouts of rain, these heavy and prolonged at times, especially over the hills. Some drier spells emerge in the west later, but sharp showers soon follow. Breezy at times, and frost-free. Minimum temperature 6 °C.
Friday:
Some bright spells will extend eastwards on Friday, though it will generally remain unsettled with further showery outbreaks of rain, some heavy. Feeling mild, but breezy at times near coasts. Maximum temperature 11 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Further heavy showers and periods of more prolonged rain continue this weekend and into Monday. A better chance of some brighter spells though. Breezy at times, with temperatures around average.
Updated:
UK long range weather forecast
Predominantly cyclonic patterns are expected to dominate the UK. Further fronts are likely to approach the UK at times and then become slow-moving as they butt up against high pressure to the north or northeast of the UK. Thus some southern and western areas remain most prone to seeing the wettest conditions, which will maintain sensitivity to further flooding impacts. Parts of northeast Britain may also be wetter than normal. Some snow is likely, especially in any colder airmasses that filter south or east into the UK and/or on the interface between mild and cold air. Strong winds are also possible at times. Temperatures will remain finely balanced during this period, with northeastern areas more likely to be colder than average, and southwestern areas perhaps seeing mild conditions at times.
Updated:
Broadly changeable conditions are expected across the UK during this period. Low pressure systems will probably dominate, meaning showers or longer spells of rain, heavy at times, for much of the UK and some hill snow in the north. Periods of strong winds are also possible, especially around coasts. Temperatures will likely be close to average or slightly above overall, though there remains the potential for incursions of colder air at times, at least into northern areas.
