A bright start but turning wet and windy later.
Today:
Often bright skies with a mixture of cloud and hazy sunny periods. A milder day than on Tuesday, although freshening southerly winds will herald wet and windy weather later. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Tonight:
Unsettled this evening and overnight with heavy outbreaks of rain and strong winds. Rain gradually clearing by dawn from the west. A mild night. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
Thursday:
Early rain in the east clearing to leave some sunny spells. Turning more unsettled into the afternoon with heavy showery rain sweeping through accompanied by strong blustery winds. Mild. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
A calmer interlude to start Friday before turning wet and windy into Saturday morning. Turning colder with a mixture of sunny spells and scattered blustery showers over the weekend.
