    Cloud spilling across the region ahead of rain moving eastwards throughout the day, heavy at times. Windy with coastal gales developing. Chilly start but turning milder later. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

    Tonight:

    Rain clearing to leave clear spells and showers overnight. Showers may bring isolated hail and thunder. Winds easing somewhat inland but still blustery around coasts. Staying frost free. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

    Saturday:

    Often cloudy with showers or longer spells of rain throughout the day. Small chance of some brighter breaks. Mild for the time of year but with a brisk wind ongoing. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

    Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

    Early rain on Sunday clearing to brighter spells. Dry for most of Monday but with a notably wet and windy spell possible overnight into Tuesday. Mild but often breezy.
