Showers becoming more isolated for a time this evening before an organised band sweeps through in the early hours. Winds ease for most, away from the far northwest. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Wednesday:

Patchy cloud and sunny spells with some isolated showers at first, these dying out through the afternoon. Feeling pleasant in any sunny spells with light winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

A settled end to the week with sunny spells and light winds each day, and fog patches forming each night. Cloud building with light rain possible by Saturday.

Pressure is set to build in the vicinity of the UK as we move into early November, with a lot of dry weather as a result. Before this occurs, a weather front bringing some rain will be in place across some western and northern areas at the very start of this period, but is likely to weaken quickly as high pressure takes charge. Within the high pressure, some places, perhaps more likely towards the east, will likely see overnight and morning fog, which at this time of year could take a while to clear and where it lingers, it will remain chilly. Otherwise, temperatures generally fairly close to average for most during this period.

Probably largely settled at first, perhaps with some chilly nights. Moving further into November, there is an increased chance of more unsettled conditions developing, with a return to spells of rain and potential for strong winds. However, the extent and location of wettest or windiest areas is uncertain. Overall, temperatures will probably be near or a little above average.
