Dry and warm evening to come with some hazy sunshine. Overnight cloud will continue to thicken with some rain possibly arriving into the northwest. Minimum temperature 16 °C.

Friday:

Outbreaks of rain will spread southeastwards throughout Friday but tending to weaken as it does so. Many areas becoming dry during the afternoon with sunny spells but feeling cooler. Maximum temperature 26 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Largely dry throughout the weekend with a mix of cloud and sunshine. Dry initially Monday but rain may move in later. Feeling cooler as temperatures return to nearer average.

Into the start of next week frontal systems will likely approach or move across the UK from the Atlantic. These will bring bring rain to many parts of the UK, although any heavy rain will probably be across high ground in the northwest. Temperatures will likely be near normal or slightly above. Later in the period, high pressure will probably have more of an influence with drier conditions developing for many. Some rain is still possible at times, particularly in the north, together with a risk of thunderstorms in the south. Temperatures will likely be above normal.

However, some more unsettled or changeable interludes are probable at times, bringing showers or some longer spells of rain, although overall rainfall amounts are more likely to be below average than above.
