    Any early morning mist and fog patches lifting with another primarily sunny day with just some patchy cloud around. A brisker easterly breeze than on Monday, giving a somewhat fresher feel on some coasts. becoming very warm by the afternoon. Maximum temperature 27 °C.

    Tonight:

    Plenty of evening sunshine and then dry overnight with prolonged clear periods and variable cloud. Staying rather warm in urban areas but cooler in the countryside by dawn. Minimum temperature 14 °C.

    Wednesday:

    Dry with lots of strong sunshine, temperatures rising rapidly during the morning. High level cloud will make the skies a little hazy at times. Feeling very warm and locally hot. Maximum temperature 31 °C.

    Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

    Hot or very hot on Thursday with plenty of strong sunshine. Turning a little fresher and cloudier from Friday with perhaps the chance of an odd shower on Saturday.
